REI has extensive experience installing directional boreholes in bedded deposits such as salt, coal, and trona, allowing our team to draw on this experience to install solution mining systems. Applications range from single boreholes in the bedded deposit for water circulation, to a full array of lateral branches intercepting an abandoned mine or production well. REI can develop boreholes from underground or shallow surface locations, using our experience drilling bedded evaporite deposits to develop a solution mining project for any mine.
